· PERSONAL STATEMENTI have viewed Nephrology as a way to integrate many different aspects of medicine, from hypertension to diabetes to transplantation. I have devoted myself to clinical practice and clinical research projects in the area of glomerular disease, especially diabetes mellitus. Our division is hoping to find innovative approaches to the treatment of these diseases.
